The Order was formed in secrecy by Luthor Huss, for the greed and corruption could no longer be tolerated. So with the grace of the Grand Theogonist, Volkmar The Grim,
he met with Luthor in secret and formed the Order.

The Grand Theogonist, Volkmar The Grim, could not be seen to have dealings with the secret order; so he cut all ties with them, leaving Luthor Huss to tend to it. Luthor then named the group "The Order of Aequitas" (justice); he then hand picked a few Warrior priest and Witch Hunters from the Orders of the Silver Hammer and of the Cleansing Flame, who were tired of dealing with the greedy and corrupt and wished to see the Church of Sigmar return to its full glory. Those who joined were sworn to secrecy by Luthor who then left the order to a young warrior priest who had proved his worth and dedication to the cause and the order itself; a young man named Guenther Zhrhard and an older priest named Osric Albrecht. The Order were few in number, but even with the few they had they made a huge impact with the small villages that were constantly under attack by the hordes of chaos. Unfortunately, the Order was soon to find out; when they were on a cleansing mission in a village in Nordland close to the Sea of claws, that the whole village was corrupted by the dark gods. With the purification just begun some of the Order of the Silver Hammer and Cleansing flame soon showed up as well, having heard of the villages downfall to the chaos gods. After the cleansing was complete there was a stand off amongst those there, for none had ever seen or heard of The Order of Aequitas. Guenther and Osric, not wanting to shed the blood of their own brothers of the different orders, soon tried to defuse the situation but they were both taken back to Altdorf for further questioning. The Arch Lectors soon proclaimed them to be heretics but the Grand Theogonist did but only smile upon Osric and Guenther, for their bravery they were soon let go and the Emperor acknowledged The Order of Aequitas and gave them praise, Guenther and Osric worked somewhat close to all the orders; but still stood close to repairing the Church of Sigmar, cleansing the greed and corruption from it and spreading the word of Sigmar to the faithful this day and fighting off the hordes of chaos.
